Comodo SSL

Through our partnership with Comodo, one of the leading global providers of security, digital e-commerce, identity and trust assurance services for the Internet, Whitehelm is able to offer a range of security certificates to our customers.

SSL certificates are a vital part of any e-commerce or security infrastructure so it is important to obtain them from a reliable source. However the price difference between providers can vary by a factor of 10 or more! Therefore it is important to select the correct provider to still give a high level of trust to your customers without incurring unnecessary costs.

Comodo offers a very high level of assurance in validating organisations before issuing certificates, including the new Extended Validation standards which allow compatible browsers (such as IE7) to identify sites offering this higher level of trust and hence provide greater confidence to customers when performing transactions.

They also have the same high level of browser trust (99.3% browser ubiquity) support as other major providers. However, due to their efficient systems, they can provide certificates at significantly lower cost than other leading providers. (In some cases Comodo’s prices are 10 times less than other providers).

Existing Whitehelm customers wishing to request certificates should go to their Certificate Order page to select the product they want - if you have not been provided with a URL for the certificate ordering system please contact your account manager or e-mail sales@whitehelm.com to request access.

If you are looking to renew or purchase new certificates, please call 0870 421 4023 to find out how your company can benefit from the Whitehelm certificate management service, or e-mail sales@whitehelm.com requesting more information and find out how we can help you gain improved trust in the security of your electronic transactions, whilst saving you money.
